Color: Butterscotch.
Nose: The nose is very pleasant with notes of vanilla and butterscotch. Fresh fruit notes of apple, pear, and cherry also shine through. The nose is very crisp and refreshing.
Palate: On the palate, the butterscotch and cherry notes carry over from the nose, but a ton of spice becomes apparent as well showcasing itself as cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg. There is also a fair amount of sweet oak on the palate. The bourbon has a medium viscosity.
Finish: This single barrel has a medium finish as it moves down the palate and up the roof of your mouth. The butterscotch, cinnamon, and just general crispness of the bourbon really shine.
